* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 25
knots with gusts up to 30 knots and seas 4 to 6 feet expected.
For the Gale Watch, east winds 20 to 30 knots with gusts up to
35 knots and seas building to 9 to 14 feet possible.

* WHERE...Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet 0-20 nm and Sebastian
Inlet to Jupiter Inlet 20-60 nm.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 4 PM to 8 PM EDT
Tuesday. For the Gale Watch, from Tuesday evening through late
Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE FRIDAY
NIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents and increasing rough surf.

* WHERE...Beaches of Brevard, Indian River, Saint Lucie, and
Martin Counties.

* WHEN...Through late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away
from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the
sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as jetties and
piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards, beach patrol flags and
signs.

Entering the surf is strongly discouraged. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
